 Grievance Procedures

​Our school recognises that, on occasions, concerns will arise about issues concerning a child or family. This is part of being in a “school family”. In the first instance, parents are encouraged to make their first approach on any matter of concern, to the teacher concerned. As the teacher is responsible for the children in the class, it is essential that such a meeting be planned for out of school hours at a time mutually suitable to both the person concerned and the teacher.

In most instances this will be the child’s teacher, and in most instances, this initial contact will clear up any misunderstandings. Should this not be the case, the Principal will offer to mediate to help resolve the situation.

Parents are also welcome to speak to the Principal about general school related matters..

Again, simply ring the school secretary and arrange a suitable time.​
