 School Disco

The school disco is on Friday June 16 and will follow the same format as last year.  Prep - 2 are 2.45pm - 4pm and grades 3 - 6 are 4.30pm to 6pm. Tickets are $5 and must be purchased on flexischools before 5pm on Thursday June 15. No cash is to be sent to the school for tickets. Entry wristbands will be distributed to students on Friday at school. Please ensure when you are buying your tickets on flexischools that you purchase 1 ticket for each child separately.

Junior school students can bring a change of clothes to school so that they don't need to wear their uniform to the disco.  Teachers will allow some time before school finishes for the children to change if they choose.  The P-2 teachers will then escort those children attending the disco to the hall and children will remain in the hall supervised until 4pm. The children's school bags will be left outside the classrooms for parents to collect after the disco finishes at 4pm. We would ask that parents who are not volunteering to work on the night refrain from entering the hall. You will find your child will probably enjoy themselves much more if they are not constantly looking for you.

Senior school students will follow normal routines at the end of school and will move to the pick up area to be picked up by their parent.

Children are not permitted to attend both discos. Only children in the correct grades will be allowed into the hall. Any other child present must be supervised by a parent outside the hall. We understand that this is difficult for parents with children across both discos but it is simply not possible to cater for 800 students at one disco so the event must be split.

As part of the disco ticket children will get a small packet of chips and a popper. A few small treats will also be for sale throughout the disco if you wish to send in extra money for your child. This is by no means necessary as the children are only there for a small amount of time and they will receive their chips and drink when they arrive. Hot food is available to purchase through flexischools as well - note the cut off date of Tuesday June 13 for food purchases.

After School Care Students -  If the children are attending the Junior Section of the disco After School Care will come and collect students at 4pm at the end of the disco and take these students to after school care.  Senior students will attend after school care as normal and these students will be brought to the hall at 4.30pm and parents will be required to collect these children at 6pm from the hall.  These students will leave their school bags in the small utilities room at the end of the hall between the toilets6pm from the hall.  These students will leave their school bags in the small utilities room at the end of the hall between the toilets4pm at the end of the disco and take these students to after school care.  Senior students will attend after school care as normal and these students will be brought to the hall at 4.30pm and parents will be required to collect these children at 6pm from the hall.  These students will leave their school bags in the small utilities room at the end of the hall between the toilets

Children who are not school aged can not attend without parental supervision.   We will allow these children to enter the disco with their parents on the evening and will charge the admission price of $5 at the door as this is a fundraiser for the school.
